Le Seignus is a small resort located in the Val d'Allos in the Alpes de Haute Provence - just 90 miles due north of St Tropez. 

The area enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year but, being located a mile above sea level, summer daytime temperatures are comfortable - in the mid-20's - and the nights are cool.

Chalet Vallons is located less than one hundred metres from the centre of the village where you will find cafes/restaurants, the baker's and mountain bike hire shops.  For the more adventurous, tandem paragliding flights are available from the top of one of the mountains above the village and, for those who have any energy left after an active day, the village has a nightclub which is open throughout the summer. 

 From Le Seignus, a short cable-car ride, 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive will take you down to Allos 1400 - the original village in the Val d'Allos.  Allos 1400 has restaurants, bars, a bank (with cashpoint), post office and the local supermarket - which is stocked with everything you will need for your stay.  There is also a weekly market where you can buy local produce such as cheese and sausages.
