Chalet Vallons is owned and run by Ben and Catherine; winter 2010-2011 will be our eighth season running Chalet Vallons.

During your week with us, as well as preparing your meals and running the chalet, we will be available for a session of accompanied skiing - showing you some of our favourite runs and the pick of the mountain restaurants.

Before moving to France, Catherine worked in Germany, Italy and La Réunion, for the Foreign Office and the National Trust.

Ben, who used to be a television and film lawyer, left his job with Discovery Channel to run Chalet Vallons.

Monty, despite having spent four winters at Chalet Vallons, is still rubbish at skiing.

Constance is even worse at skiing than Monty but won't be once she actually tries it.

We have our own apartment within the chalet so at least one of us is usually close by if needed.
