Family holidays are a speciality of Le Seignus and of Chalet Vallons - children under 3 are free if sharing a room with 2 adults and anyone aged 13 or under receives a £100 discount.  One of the bedrooms has bunk beds and a single bed in it so up to 3 children can share and we also have cots, high-chairs and stair gates.  The chalet also has loads of children's DVDs plus books and games for the kids too.

The whole valley has a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere with the absence of British tour operators meaning that the bars and restaurants aren't filled with people dancing on the tables.

In Allos there is a Jardin des Enfants for young children who are learning to ski and older children can have lessons at Le Seignus or at La Foux.  There are also crèches for younger children and we will be happy to drop off and pick up your kids from ski school or the crèche.  There is also a separate sledging area in Allos and, once the the lifts are closed, the piste at the end of our garden is perfect for a spot of tobogganing - we have various sledges and snow-tubes you can borrow. 

The area offers a variety of entertainment for youngsters under the banner of "Famille Plus Montagne", these include weekly firework displays in high season, face-painting, childrens' entertainers, ski-jouring (being pulled along on skis behind a horse!)  and dog-sledding.  There is also an ice-rink at La Foux and various play areas although these are often covered with snow. 

We are happy to arrange earlier mealtimes for children so the adults can enjoy their meal after the children are in bed.
