TERMS AND CONDITIONS - WINTER HOLIDAYS
1. BOOKING

1.1

The terms and conditions set out herein together with your confirmation invoice comprise the agreement between us and those persons listed on the booking.

1.2

No contract is made until we issue you with a confirmation invoice.

1.3

If the confirmation invoice contains an obviously incorrect price, we will issue a new confirmation invoice and will not be bound by the price quoted on the incorrect confirmation invoice.

1.4

Please check the details on the confirmation carefully. Any discrepancies should be brought to our attention within seven days of issue otherwise the details shown on the confirmation invoice will be presumed to be correct.

1.5

A deposit of £100 per adult is due at the time of booking unless the booking is made within six weeks of the date of your holiday in which case you will have to pay the full amount immediately. Once your holiday has been confirmed by us, the deposit will not be refunded except in circumstances set out in Clause 2.1.

1.6

You must make payment to us of the balance shown on the confirmation within four weeks of the confirmation being issued.

1.7

If you do not pay in full by the date shown on the final invoice we reserve the right to, cancel your booking if we so wish which will make you liable for cancellation charges as set out in the table shown in paragraph 4 of this section.

1.8

You are free to change the names of the persons travelling at any time up until arrival.

1.9

If you wish to add any new persons to the booking then, subject to availability, they will be charged at the same price per person as the original booking.

2.

CANCELLATION AND ALTERATIONS BY US

2.1

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your holiday you will be offered an alternative date or dates at the same price as you paid for your cancelled holiday or our published price for such alternative date(s) if lower.  You have seven days from receipt of notice of cancellation to confirm whether you wish to take such alternative dates.  In the absence of confirmation from you we will assume that you do not wish to accept such alternative dates and will refund to you all sums received from you.

OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

3.1

We shall not be liable in respect of any death, bodily injury or illness caused on holiday unless it is proved that it is due to the negligence of us.

3.2

Our liability in any action (excluding that for personal injury, illness or death) will be limited to the sums received by us from you (excluding any sums received by us pursuant to Clause 5.7).

 

 

4.

CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING

4.1

If you cancel your holiday you must advise us immediately. Cancellations are only valid when acknowledged by us. If you cancel you will be liable to pay the cancellation charges set out below. ‘holiday cost’ as used below means the total holiday cost for all persons included on the booking as shown on the confirmation.

Period before scheduled departure:

More than 28 days - Deposit

28 days or less - 75% of holiday cost

4.2

If fewer than all members of the party wish to cancel this may mean that the accommodation booked will be under-occupied and result in the remainder having to pay any applicable supplements to retain the booking.

4.3

Should you decide to curtail your holiday arrangements, for whatever reason, no refunds will be payable for any unused nights’ accommodation.

 

 

5.

WHILST ON HOLIDAY

5.1

Fresh bed linen and towels will be provided at the start of your holiday.

5.2 Meals start with dinner on the first day of your arrival at the chalet and finish with breakfast on your day of departure.
5.3 The accommodation booked is only available for use by those persons included on the booking (including any amendments thereto).
5.4 Smoking - In the interest of fire and safety regulations and out of consideration for other guests the chalet is non-smoking.
5.5 You are responsible for any damage caused to the chalet caused by you during your stay.
5.6

If, in our opinion, you cause or appear likely to cause disturbance to other guests or damage to our property, we may terminate your holiday arrangements with us. We will not be liable to make alternative arrangements for other accommodation or repatriation nor will we cover any costs which you may incur or make any refunds.

5.7 If you wish us to book ski, board etc. hire and/or tuition we will do so at cost price provided that you will pay to us the cost of these prior to our booking the same on your behalf.  We shall have no liability in respect of any equipment hired or any tuition or the failure of third parties to provide the same.

 

 

6. TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
6.1 You are responsible for arranging your own transport to the chalet.
   
7. GENERAL
7.1 Other than in respect of children accompanied by their parents or guardians, bookings for persons under the age of 21 will not be accepted unless more than half of the party are at least 21 years of age.
7.2

Please note that travel insurance is essential and no liability will be accepted for any clients travelling without adequate travel insurance. Due to the inherent unpredictability of the weather, specialist lack of snow insurance is recommended.

7.3 We shall not be liable for any failure on our part to perform the agreement between us which arises as a result of your breach of the agreement between us or as a result of an event of force majeure.
7.4 We may store and use the information which you supply to us or which is supplied to us about yourself and other members of your party.
7.5 We do not offer package holidays and any booking made with us is not a "package" for the purposes of the The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tour Regulations 1992.  We are not an "organiser" or "retailer" for the purposes of those Regulations.
