Le Seignus is an unspoilt resort, established in the 1930's, located in the Val d'Allos in the Alpes de Haute Provence.  The area enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year and, with the pistes being between 1500m and 2600m, it has an excellent snow record along with plenty of snow cannons to keep the slopes in good condition throughout the season which lasts from early December until late April.

For those requiring ski school or private tuition, there is a branch of the École du Ski Français less than 100 metres from the chalet - we will be happy to help you arrange lessons with them.

Just beyond the ski school are a choice of hire shops for skis, boards, snow blades etc. - standard adult ski and boot hire costs around 80 (approx. £56) for 6 days.

Le Seignus has cafes, restaurants, bars and, for anyone who has the stamina after a day's skiing, a nightclub.  More adventurous visitors might want to try the ice-driving school in Allos or hire a skidoo in La Foux d'Allos.

La Foux d'Allos is less than 15 minutes away on the resort's free bus service (and we also drive guests up to La Foux twice a week) and gives access to the rest of l'Espace Lumière with an additional 125 miles of pistes.  There is also a branch of the ESF at La Foux if you'd prefer to have lessons there.  La Foux has a cinema, ice-rink, shops, plenty of restaurants and bars and a couple of nightclubs.

From Le Seignus, a short gondola ride or 5 minute journey on the free bus takes you down to Allos - the main village in the Val d'Allos.  Again, there are restaurants, bars and shops in Allos.
